This exactly.  Roe v. Wade is a distraction from the true reason Kavanaugh was selected.  The conservative agenda of protecting corporate interests over individual rights is at the heart of this nomination.

And, of course, this from Seth Abramson's tweet, which is worth a read on the Kennedy/Trump collusion:

Agreed.  All of our individual rights -- the right to health care, to living in a freer/safer society with fewer guns, voting rights, a woman's right to choose -- all these are being dismantled bit by bit.  The larger picture IMO is  the consolidation of power around corporations and oligarchs, which is at the heart of the conservative agenda.  Trump is into this presidency for one reason only:  to enrich his family, ensuring his seat at the table with the world's wealthy.

Meanwhile, the truly stupid among us, see only one or two bite-sized issues...scary times.[/quote]
