So do Discovery, Abington, Drew, and Hofffman Boston (all zero)
Nottingham has one.
Ashlawn and Campbell have 2 each.
All the other schools have more; between 4-10.

Some are sitting empty, though. Barcroft has 10 I think, but not all, or even any of them, are being utilized right now, but they aren't taking them away.

That's not true. Barcroft is using all of them, even though the school is under-capacity this year. Even in past years before the enrollment peaked, the trailers were used for the early childhood programs. These are also the oldest trailers in the system and are supposed to be replaced with "newer" ones no longer being used elsewhere.

They put the preschool in the trailers even though there’s empty space in the building? I’d be surprised if that were true.

I'm a Barcroft parent. They have used all of the trailers my entire time there (the past 8 years), including for the early childhood programs. They have also had the entire 5th grade in them for the past 3 years. Yes, even with "empty space in the building."

This is puzzling! Are there actual empty classrooms in your main building? Or is APS capacity figure wrong?!

So if it's not Barcroft, which is the APS elementary school that has a bunch of trailers on its property even though none of them are in use, because APS is basically just using the school as a storage site until they start selling/leasing excess trailers? I remember this being discussed with the staff at a SB meeting/work session in the past few months, but I don't have ten hours to listen through all of those meetings again to try to find it. I could have sworn it was Barcroft but I guess I was wrong.
