Will Larry Hogan win Re-Election?

Hogan is the second most popular governor in the country.

You delicate DC types need to make more trips to Cumberland, Salisbury, and Elkton!

Because we all know that the polls always tell the future perfectly and get things right 100% of the time, right pp? And Republicans are sooo energized!

Republicans are indeed energized.

And the rest of the country is coming to the realization that Trump isn't the economic disaster they've been told he'd be.

Hogan is holding his own in areas close to D.C. Plenty of people are looking for someone who isn't simply a partisan hack, whether a republican or democrat.

Nope, and it doesn’t matter who the democrat is. Not going to happen.

Really? He is pretty popular, and some of the potential democratic nominees would have trouble appealing to folks on the center-left or center-right.

MD is a deep blue state and Trump certainly is weighing on the R brand, but I don't think it will at all be a cake walk, particularly if certain Ds get the nod.

His silence on the travel ban was the worst. MD citizens were getting caught up in this in BWI and Dulles. The VA gov was out there advocating for his citizens. Our MD congressional reps were out there. Where was Hogan? No where. He was silent and did nothing, couldn't be found. Such an asshole.

Oh please. What "citizens" were caught up in this? It was a political carnival, not a crisis.

Maybe you should educate yourself. Plenty of us citizens have relatives who have been "caught up" in Trump's bigoted bans. This is a nation of immigrants.

If they were caught up in the travel ban, by definition they were not citizens and have NO rights to immigrate to or even visit this country. If we decide to let them in, good for them. Being a nation of immigrants does not bind us to allow in everyone who wants to come. People who say that are extremely ignorant of the history of immigration policy in this country.

Yeah whatever. Tell it to Anne Frank. Oh wait...you can’t.

It was the grand liberal Franklin Roosevelt who wouldn't allow Jews, such as Anne Frank, to enter the US. Check his record too with actual citizens of Japanese descent. You liberals have a lot to be ashamed of

One week later this comment is sort of hilarious.

+1 Trump is a disaster and he endorses Hogan. And Hogan is endorsed by the NRA. Those two endorsements are enough for me to vote for the Democrat, whomever he may be.

Hogan's economic accomplishments in MD:

Lost Discovery Channel in Silver Spring
No FBI in Greenbelt

Oh, but we do get an extra week of summer vacation for "business" in OC! Great job, Governor!

GSA DECIDED to rebuild on the site in DC. How did Hogan have anything to do with that?

The Trump admin pushed to cancel that project. Looks like having a Republican governor isn’t doing us much good.

He’s a very moderate Republican. He’s also not a conniving self centered jackass so really it’s like he’s not even a Republican.
Hogan is great despite most republicans being an embarrassment to the human race.

Except for the part where he actually is a Republican.

And is endorsed by Trump and the NRA and wouldn’t speak out against the Muslim Ban. But just keep telling yourself how moderate he is.
