All women are damaged goods. Oldies even more so. |
DH here. PP, as someone who has been treated like shite by his 45 y/o DW over the past several years, all I can say is (i) yes, she is damaged but what keeps me going is my knowledge that there are so many other women out there who aren't, (ii) over 30 is hardly old and (iii) you are a moron. |
Or he's president of France. |
Sorry, your friends are being honest. You’ll find someone, but it won’t be your first pick. You won’t be theirs either. Think is after being 30, sleeping with a bunch of guys and bringing a bunch of emotional baggage you’re on the cusp of not being marriage material. Most great women who have solid looks, good career and are great mother material have been taken already. Most guys have two, while some could get away with being early thirties but not many. If you’re going to wait too much longer you’re going to end up with divorced dads as the primary option. The only real exception is women who have been in a mult-year relationship. Even that has an issue as men will wonder why the guy didn’t really take the time to marry you if you’re marriage material. |
Really? Open your eyes. |
Lol. Did you go to college? You must not live in this area. |
Ha ha. No. Men on the whole don't know how to take care of themselves. By 50 they are fat and slovenly. |
Same thing |
Money is important for man, looks are women |
Well my friends who married in their 30 have all been able to get pregnant in their mid to late thirties. I married young but still waited until I was 32 to start a family. |
You know what's makes you a damaged goods? Being a raging misogynist asshole who is obsessed with women's looks and fertility expiring on some magical deadline so that will make them departed enough to settle for your ass.

NP. + 1000. We would get along in real life! |
It's also funny how these guys don't realize how very low-status it is to want to date 20 year olds. Highly educated and successful men in their 30s want to date peers, not recent college grads with temp jobs. |
Go get those peers. Personally I'm assuming that other men at all income levels pick cute rather than worrying about peers or status. Actually, we've referred to women as hot, fat, nuts, or fun, but never "low-status". |
You're trash, then. In DC and NY all the educated, cultured men (yes, this excludes a lot of wall street types) look for peers. They want intelligent women who have good jobs and college/grad school pedigrees and will pass on good genes to their kids. 30-something bro types calling their same-age peers "damaged goods" are extremely low-value men who can't attract high quality women. |
