Industries (agriculture, landscaping) should focus on this solution, thus "picking lettuce" legally. But more effort and money to house and host guest workers legally.

In addition to implementing everify, the local governments should start charging these employers (who abuse the system to hire cheap labor) with the local infrastructure costs born by we the taxpayers.

I would gladly pay more for my head of lettuce than watch my tax bill climb each year to pay for all these folks. Cheap labor is not cheap for me!

BraVO. Precisely correct, PP!

Personally, I do believe that older students be educated in separate adult education systems. I thought this is what happened in the 70s and 80s. When did the tide change?

Damn teenager! How DARE she be brutally raped! Doesn't she KNOW she just did a disservice to liberals? I mean how RUDE of her......

This student was the age of most HS seniors.

You are missing the point, totally. Also, this was an 18 year old freshman, not an 18 year old senior.

An adult with little or no formal education, no English , here illegally, recently entered - has zero business in regular american HS program. Zero. The legislators need to start legislating. Keep up the pressure.

SENIORS... not FRESHMEN.
There's a big difference between an 18 year old (if he's even 18, could be older) and a 14 year old.

Do you people really think these politicians care if you are outraged about a rape by an illegal dreamer? They do not and believe any crimes are just something citizens have to accept.

They do not. Nor did St Obama arrange federal funding to support them. I totaled numbers from the ORR site and there were huge numbers of unaccompanied undoc minors since Oct 2013 landing in PG 4144 and Montco 3286.

Fairfax got 3925 and Arlington 526. Based on state funding our property taxes pay for them NOT the federal govt. These are only the people nabbed by immigration on the unaccompanied minors lists so I assume there are more.

A fast-track American education... Check! (And back to the 7-11 you go)

Yep, Obama brought thousands of Democrat voters here. He doesn't care if it cost one girl's life.

Fairfax county high schools are facing the same situation as Rockville, it is just a matter of time.

So Fairfax go 3925 since 2013? With spending-per-student at $14,000/year, and assuming that 80% of these minors are in public school, that's 3,140 illegal immigrants X $14,000 = $44 million PER YEAR. And that's just for unaccompanied minors. What about all the minors smuggled over the border by their parents? It is very likely that we, Fairfax County property owners, are paying $100 million annually .

No wonder my property tax escrow payment is more than my P&I! And now we have people on another thread arguing that we should continue to pay for their continuing education via in-state tuition. And with liberal cities/counties fighting to make their jurisdictions "sanctuary cities," we will be attracting even more.

"Wow, just wow" because we are spending $100 million a year to educate illegal minors in Fairfax County, or "wow, just wow" that I'm complaining about it? (Hard to tell if you're on my side or not.)
