Illegals don't vote. Even trying to vote means no green card ever. They all know this.

They had someone on tape talking about registering illegal immigrants to vote. You don't need any proof of legal residence in MD in order to register to vote.

I've registered people here. The last four digits of your SSN number or drivers license gets checked. People also know not to register illegally.

How does the last 4 digits of SSN get used to check residency?

The best I could do was get her in to see a nurse practitioner because the doctor appointments were booked for months. I get there and we are literally the only English speaking family in the waiting room. We receive no subsidies and are paying out-of-pocket more than $20,000 a year for health insurance and I can't get my kid into a specialist but all of the immigrants have appointments with the actual doctors and better coverage than us.

The foolery. You couldn't get into a doctor at Children's because you wouldn't wait the year that EVERYONE waits including my English speaking upper middle class family with private insurance. I made an appointment in December 2015 for August 2016 and then waited. Funny, all TWO people in the waiting room at children's (because when appointments take 3 hours and are a year wait to get you don't have a full waiting room) spoke English.

You didn't want to wait a year to see a specialist like everyone else so you got a nurse. Your choice. Not the fault of illegal immigrants.

It really does not keep prices down. Most of the extra profit goes to the business owner. In the end, any effect on prices is offset by additional taxes that must be spent to educate, house and provide health care for these workers and their children. It would be very easy to curb illegal immigration without building a wall. Just impose massive penalties on business owners who employ illegals. Also, you must give the business owners a reliable way to check the status of workers.

It's the very wealthy who profit the most and they don't really care about social services for the rest of America. The "open border" has only been for the last 40 years or so. Before that we were much more strict.

That is EXACTLY what happened to me. I needed care, and I had to wait five weeks until I could get in. When I finally arrived in the waiting room, I was the only English-speaking person there - realizing I lost valuable time in getting to a doctor because, despite my inflated premiums to subsidize those getting free care, foreign-born people getting that free care were getting served first.

That's why Trump won. Hard-working Americans who have paid taxes all their lives, and are now paying ridiculous premiums for insurance that doesn't cover anything, should not have to wait in line (and potentially risk their health) behind recent immigrants who won't even speak English in public, and get medical care for free.

Actually over staying your visa is breaking a federal law. So kinda a little more important than a speeding ticket. Nice try though.

Most illegals use the ER for the hospital and never pay the bill, which is why hospital bills are so inflated. You pay for those that can't and especially for those that can't be tracked down. I used to be a travel ER nurse and it was eye opening when I was in urban areas or southern states. You can not refuse anyone care in an ER. Doesn't matter if they are illegal. Just another perk of breaking the law.
