| Oh so grateful Jane is our newscaster tonight! No stress on my hearing and I can actually listen and absorb the news rather than trying so hard not to focus on Laura's shrill voice. |

| It is very frustrating to try to listen to Laura Trevelyan. I do not understand why someone, somewhere in the BBC, has not taken her aside and told her to go to vocal coaching. For that matter, I do not understand why she cannot hear how grating and shrill her voice is. Her problem - the piercing unsupported voice, combined with god-awful diphthongs - is not that hard to correct with coaching. The BBC is known, or notorious, for their plummy precise diction but nobody is born with that voice. She desperately needs to learn how to pronounce diphthongs without chewing them and she needs to pitch her voice about a fourth or fifth lower. It is not that hard to do. |

| It is quite repulsive to listen to Travelian......her voice and accent hurt the normal ear. I switch channels immediately when I hear that she is hosting the BBC News. I guess it is all who she is married to and not her presentation. |

| She was the Anchor again tonight August 6th. I had to switch channels. Her voice is so gritting I couldn't listen. Guess her Spouse keeps her on the Air |

Oh my....why is she still on?!!! It is so painful to my ears. I can only rationalize that her spouse, President of ABC, must be funding BBC America. And BBC has sold its soul!!

| I believe boycotting BBC America is the answer. I don't understand why we continue to be subjected to hearing Laura Trevelyan's voice after so many dissatisfied viewers have complained. But our voices are not being heard. |

| It was so nice last week when Travelyan was on vacation. Now we have her horrid, gritting voice back and we can't watch the BBC News. Dump her even though she is married to an ABC News President. She is awful and painful to listen to. |
