See-through shower wall in the hotel - WWYD?

So apparently you all congregate in the same bathroom when one a person is taking a shower and peer through the shower door?

That's a new practice.

Spending time complaining and insisting on discounts for something so minor - that even had a fix - is teaching them lessons that will do them no favors in the future.
I actually followed the suggestions on this thread - some posters advised that I should request the vouchers. I didn't ask for anything specific, and I also spoke with them myself - without the kids or DH around. When we checked out at the front desk, they asked how we enjoyed staying there, and of course I mentioned that they should notify the guests. Again, they repeated the same mantra - that the guests are responsible for doing research on the hotels. It's as if you bought a new product in the grocery store, and it turned out to be poisonous, and the manufacturer told you that you should have researched their product before buying it. I just never expected something like that from a hotel.

No, it isn't like that at all.

Exactly. It's NOTHING like that. What's "poisonous" about this situation?

It's more like you didn't do your research, bought a package of cookies in the grocery store and you didn't like the flavor, but rather than saying "oh well, my mistake", you expected the grocery store to know what you like and don't like and blamed them for what was actually YOUR mistake.

Of course! There is nothing more charming than a dad walking into the bathroom and taking a dump on the toilet while his teenage daughter is taking a shower in the clear glass shower stall.

If you think that's awkward you have hang ups and a dirty mind lady! Or at least that's how some folks like to twist things...

So do we. And we have learned how to take turns using it. There is no need for us all to be in the bathroom at the same time. Learn how to share. Privacy is becoming more and more underrated....sadly.

Thread over. OP needs to quit bitchin. Next you are going to be whining about the illegals on the corners handing out strip club flyers to your kids.

Disney, Atlantis, ok, complain. Vegas? Anything goes.

I get it OP, I hate it when hotels stray from conventional layouts and make it less functional. Our last trip (family of 4) we stayed at a Westin where the bathroom sink was outside the actual bathroom, in the hallway. So you couldn't brush your teeth, dry your hair without disturbing everyone else int he room.
