Size 14, pretty face, 215 pounds. Would you date me?

Anonymous
I'd be in a size 14 long before 215 lbs because any weight I gain goes straight to my belly, but I weigh a lot more than anyone suspects because I usually wear it very well. No one is going to call me skinny at my current weight, but most people would argue that I am no more than 5 lbs above the top weight for healthy/normal for my height.

Are you sure you wear a size 14??

I'm with you... I am 6'0" tall and when I weighed 215, I was a 1x.

5'6", 175 pounds, size 14

No I would not date you.
Eve if you lose 80 pounds then I would still probably not date
you based on my fear that, once attached, you would at some point once again become overweight.

Sorry, not trying to be mean, just sharing that for some of us, fitness is a deal breaker, for myself and for my partner.
And not just during the early years but into old age too.
Fitness for me is a lifetime choice

This is why a lot of formerly big women destroy old pictures once they lose weight.

I'm now getting ads for plus size swimwear on the side of the page. I'm a healthy weight, but do not wear bikinis. That's pushing it when you are overweight. But again, there's probably some guys that like it.

Please warn in advance anyone you are dating/planning to marry that if she gets cancer and is put on drugs that blow her up you are out of there.

I was thinking the same thing. No way someone that big wears a 14. A 14 is for fairly average-sized women. In fact, I think it is the average size of the American woman.

Have you looked at thebodygallery? Lots of variation in the bodies wearing size 14.

And 14 is the average size because the average American woman is plus size.

Weight is just a number. I (guy) care about a life together with someone who can travel, go to beach, and generally have fun. If you are okay with these things, what do I care what you weigh?

I do my best to stay in relatively good shape. Not gym, but walking, eating semi-healthy.

I want the same in a female. Doesn't have to be perfect, but there is a "too big" limit for me. It's all fine and well if you look at me and want to have sex, but if it's not mutual, then we're destined for doom.

Looks aren't everything but they're also not nothing. People forget physical attraction is generally what leads to physical intimacy.

I just wrote this. And then I saw the OP's picture that represents a woman as a size 14. That woman is hot. As I said, there's a "too big" limit for me and, that pic, isn't even close to the limit. Case dismissed. LOL

In general, AA, Latino, and Arab men have less hang ups about dating heavier women. In this area, I see fit AA guys with heavier women all the time.

My ex-wife was 209 and 5'5 when we met. She was a size 18 at the time. She ballooned to 315 in five years. I spent ten years playing therapist to low self esteem and nutritionist to health problems. I'm not dealing with that again.

I don't want bone thin, but if you're over a size 14 then I'm not interested.
