S/o how much was your wedding ring?

Engagement ring was 2k, wedding ring 4k.

Just a hair over 20k. Band was 2,500. I know because I picked out the diamond and the setting. The setting has fantastically cut melee and the whole thing sparkles like crazy, even though I never get it cleaned professionally.

Personally I am a big fan of jewelry and this ring absolutely brings me lots of joy each day. I have mixed feelings about how other people perceive it.

As an aside I am surprised everyday about how ugly people on DCUM get about how other people "should donate to charity." Really? Get over yourselves. Go work more hours, make more money and donate THAT if you really want to make a difference.

In my opinion, wedding ring price doesn't matter. The price of the ring was never important and my ring is fairly non-traditional. It is a diamond but it's very small (on purpose since I use my hands all day and didn't want it catching and it's a non-traditional setting.

combined, they cost $800. The wedding band was $125 of that. I wish I hadn't gotten either one, because I don't like yellow gold. I wear the unofficial silver engagement ring we bought at the side of the road for $10 as my wedding band. If we could have afforded it, I would have gotten a platinum wedding band at the time (maybe. my husband wanted yellow gold.) but I don't think it would have made any difference in my life.

Center stone was inherited and valued at ~8000 (one carat and truly stunning). We reset it and the ring cost 2500. So, about 10k for the engagement ring.

My wedding band was twenty bucks from Amazon. Am hoping to upgrade one day but we're mired in the costs of having young children, paying student loans etc. Maybe one day, but for now I rather enjoy the juxtaposition.

Engagement ring of 1.25 carat, oval cut diamond in platinum for $6,000--a deal because DH's brother is a jeweler.

$800 for platinum wedding band.

My engagement ring was $2000 and my wedding band was $600. I have a sapphire (the equivalent size of a 1 carat diamond) with a diamond halo, and a solid gold wedding band. Love them and I am thrilled that we didn't waste money on a a diamond ring.

We reset his moms engagement stone in a 4k setting and got a 3k band. Very happy with my rings.

I'll upgrade the stone at some point in the future, but for now, this will suffice

22 years later I still wear it everyday, but I have never liked it. I would trade it up in a heart beat. Love the guy, but hate the ring.

No engagement ring. Gold ring was $300.

I think engagement rings are antiquated and generally don't match the yoga tights most women wear. It looks silly.

32K for my engagement ring. I flipped out when I got it. . .too big. I wear it every day, but I hide my hand sometimes. It still feels funny on my puny hand.
