Clearly you needed practice!
You scared me and made me a little sad though.

I hope you don't get in, in fact I hope you don't get into any charter school. You don't seem to have concept of the extensive moving parts of the behind the scenes of a new, young charter school.

You are exactly the type a large, long term DCPS with lots of bureaucracy is made for. Good luck.

Wow, that is a serious overreaction, and I'm not the PP you're responding to. That's a reaction to real questions that are in limbo at CM, from the look of what's discussed here. You may see PP as impatient, but some of the challenges CM has had re: non-public lottery and communication to the public about available spots is mostly unique to CM, so it's not just general "charter start up issues" that that PP is being critical of.

Actually, CM has been quite clear about available spots to those listening. There are NO spots for PK4-3rd. 19 spots are available for PS3.

has anyone gotten a call or email saying they've gotten in? I imagine they've been made/sent out by now, but I'm surprised no one has checked in about it here.
Anonymous
They may have spots available for PK4-3 but are not sure yet as they have to wait until all of the notice of intent forms are received. They were due last week but some are still trickling in and they are figuring it out.

98% of families returning and 800 total applications for the school - pretty sure the chances of getting in are slim and none.

It is definitely not none as there are the 2% who are not returning. I still have a chance!

Yes, you do. Just make sure not to get your hopes up too high!

To my great surprise, I just got a call saying my son got a PK-3 slot at Creative Minds. We have no sibling there. (!)
