| C'mon, people. I remember spending most of the '90s making fun of how terribly people ate back in the '50s and '60s, how they didn't know anything about cholesterol and fat, how they put cream of chicken soup in everything, how they ate lots of eggs and bacon, etc. Well, it turns out those old birds lived to a ripe old age, and it's only now in the 21st century that we are overcome with obesity and our life expectancies are going down. I don't think it's time quite yet to make fun of how we used to eat. |

That's really backwards not to eat rice at home but think it's healthy to eat at Panera and co. I will take a cup of rice over an 800 calorie burrito any day. |
