Yes, because our country is half black. Please please please tell me you are not this dumb. |
No, it's not true. I know that the idea of black welfare queens has been drummed into your head for years. But, you have been misled. Those states are full of low wage earners, retires, and military folks. Also, do you really believe there are differences between black, white, and Hispanic members of the working poor? Look at the Washington Post presentation showing the makeup of the 47%. It will open your eyes. |
Bet they wish they never messed with Jimmy Carter. The grandkid was sick and tired of the badmouthing. The Carters are done making peace. It's time to kick ass and take names. |
You are out of your mind. I will admit that as a proportion of the population, blacks disproportionately 1) are impoverished and 2) need government assistance. But as a proportion of those who receive govt assistance, it's whites who get most of it. And it's mostly single white women. So it's really the Sandra Fluke slut crowd you should be worrying about. Don't want to end up paying them welfare? Get them some damn birth control. Remember we are not just talking about welfare here. Romney's 47% seems to include social security, unemployment, and other govt entitlements. It's not food stamps that are busting our budget. http://theobamacrat.com/2012/01/05/welfare-recipients-which-race-gets-more-benefits/ |
I know who these moochers are, they are people like my father. The son of an immigrant who workers as a laborer, a former U.S. Marine who served in WWII and Korea, went to school on the GI Bill, bought a house using a VA loan, a life long Republican and former ward captain for the party at the local level, a man who spent a good deal of his free time doing charity work.
Yep, he should get off his lazy 88 year old but and get back to work. Why should he be receiving social security and using tax exemptions. |
And I'll add, you KNOW who he is voting for. |
Blacks are only 12.5% of the country. If they really were anywhere close to the majority of that 47%, there would be no Republican presidents. |
Can someone explain to me how a $50K per plate fund-raiser gibes with a $2500 limit on campaign contributions? |
$2,500 to the candidate's committee, $30,800 to the national party committee (RNC in this case), and the rest (up to $10,000) to a state or local party committee. |
Thanks for the clarification on the 50K, Jeff. It does my heart good to know how effective campaign reform has been.
[Irony intended, in case it's not totally obvious.] |

Not to mention, educate yourself about how many poor white people in the red states are on Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, unemployment, etc etc etc before you spout your ignorant race-bating nonsense. |
I am an Obama voter and I am none of what you claim. Neither are any of my well-educated friends who work non-government related jobs. You live in wingnut echo chamber and are as misinformed and mentally stunted as your joke of a candidate. |
Poor baby. Just move your money to the Caymens like Mittens. While you're at it, why not just move yourself there? You won't be missed. |
Jeff, PP obviously lives in a smartly manicured suburb and has no clue about the poor. S/he is the type who drives a tank and is afraid to go into the cities b/c they might encounter scary black people. |
