This is gorgeous, I especially love the green and the earrings with the dress, but did the feathers on top have to be that long?

Yes they did, if she has old lady boobies under there I don’t want to know

Are you six?

She would be gorgeous even in a sack of flour.

I think you mean a flour sack. If she were in a sack of flour, she'd be white from head to toe and sneezing.

Ugly dress.

I like the dress. Not crazy about the aesthetic enhancements to her face.

Old lady loose skin thin arms...needs longer sleeves.

This is not "old lady loose skin thin arms." I'd kill for this definition.

You can have that definition. Start lifting weights.

Yasss!

I can objectively say that Demi is too botoxed and too thin, but this look is fabulous. I think the feathers soften up that hard look.

Great arms but looks too thin. Is this a wig?

100% it's a wig.

I kind of hate to be a hater, but Nicole Kidman seems unhinged. The obsession with being thin and not aging. Ma'am, we know you're 58. Her banter with Ewan McGregor was so cringey and he was clearly not into it at all. She seems unable to process that she's no longer 30 and simply doesn't know how to mature. It's really bizarre.

Yes to all of this. Plus she has a bizarre need to be the coquettuish sexpot in everything. Yes, Nicole you are the sexiest and you totally look 35. There is nothing wrong with wanting to look attractive over 50 but she seems slightly unhinged and possibly narcissistic. It did not help when she was hauling Keith Urban around and posing like he is her 20 year old son. But now that Keith got sick of her and left she's doubling down on the need to be the sexiest woman in Hollywood.Weird sh-t.

Yeah that schtick has gotten ridiculous, and from such an accomplished woman to boot. I think she's taking this divorce hard, and overcompensating. Hopefully she'll settle down. Mid life crises are not pretty to witness!

Who do you think should have won? MBJ was really good and I think the voters recognize that playing two separate characters is especially difficult.

People keep saying this, but imo, Lindsay Lohan did a far better job playing twins than MBJ.

This was a funny joke on sm but if you are saying it seriously you are completely nuts

I’m not on sm, so yes, this is my real opinion, and I don’t think it’s nuts.

+1. I thought Miles Caton and Delroy Lindo did a better job acting than MBJ

Ethan Hawk was excellent

Her dress isn't anything special but still looks nice and fresh.

That neckline flatters no one.

+1 from the 1950s

The best performances often do not win. Sean Penn was so bad in OBAA that I thought at first it was a cheap crap actor made up to look like and act like a Sean Penn caricature. Benicio Del Toro was wonderful and the heart of the movie.

Anne Hathaway’s dress looks gorgeous in other photos. Not sure if the angle here is less flattering.

I hate Anne Hathaway's dress. Not a fan of the exaggerated mermaid look.

It looks like the Rose Byrne dress but done worse. Awkward.

Agree they’re very similar. I didn’t see any red carpet coverage and when Byrne came on stage after Hathaway I was like wait a sec I just saw that. Byrne definitely did it better.

Also what is that Chanel quote about looking at yourself before you leave and taking at least one (accessory) off? Dress might be okay alone, but with the gloves, belt, old-lady necklace, it looks very fussy. So fussy that I wonder if that over-styling was intentionally part of the "look"...

Yes, I love that dress.

Have you noticed that some dresses photograph well from afar, and some have gorgeous detail that can't be seen unless close up? A lot of media this morning are going with Jessie Buckley's dress, because it's pink-red colorblocked and highly impactful from several feet away, so it shows up well as a small photo on a webpage crammed with other news.

But the details on Demi Moore's dress or Rose Byrne's are really gorgeous. For generalist media, they don't make that front page spot, sadly.

I thought Casablanca scene was pretty good but like an SNL skit probably could have been trimmed.

This was indeed a very good bit.

Me again. So if you're walking the red carpet, you have to choose: are you going to a sculptural, high-color, or otherwise dramatic look that will make the front page, or are you going for intricate details that will wow fans who are ready to parse through all the photos to find your dress?

Chase Infinity - This looked amazing live. The photo isn't as pretty.

Mckenna Grace - Classic look.

I hate Teyonna Taylor's dress.

I like it but I don’t know why it’s see through in the middle. It’s already a LOT and very va-voom with the fit. It’s another dress where one less thing would improve it.

I hate McKenna graces dress. I usually like a nice classic ball gown but this looks like a wedding dress.
