Ugly dress.

I like the dress. Not crazy about the aesthetic enhancements to her face.

Old lady loose skin thin arms...needs longer sleeves.

This is not "old lady loose skin thin arms." I'd kill for this definition.

These are better ángeles for her than the first photo

I like the dress no more in these angles. It is somehow both blah and too ornate. Add in Kidman's skeletal frame and the flesh-tone fabric and its exactly what queen of the zombies, as someone else commented, would wear...!

Yasss!

Compare her hands to her face. Yikes. When she presented, her upper lip did not move. It was jarring.

It looks a little softer in this picture; when I watched her on the red carpet, the top part looked very stiff and flat.

She looks gorgeous as it is. Everyone doesn't need or want implants.

+1

She's very pretty but her body looks like a young teen boy.

So? I'm also pretty flat chested and petite. I don't see what the problem is. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.

Also flat chested and I hate that dress. I think it’s because aesthetics is about balance and contrast so if you take an angular flat surfaced person and put them in an angular flat surfaced dress, it’s not visually pleasing. Something that creates more curve or movement would be more visually appealing. I’m not saying she needs falsies — just that something that is more fluid would look better. I actually don’t think that dress would look good on anyone though. Unfortunate because it’s otherwise a nice dress.

Love this from the front. Side view is slit all way up to her waist, which I kind of like on the red one, but not so much on Gwyneth.

I would like this dress for the globes or Emmy’s but it looks a little casual for the Oscar’s.

Her dress isn't anything special but still looks nice and fresh.

That neckline flatters no one.

+1 from the 1950s

I have some of those vintage dresses from the 50s and they are actually really flattering. I think the neckline is a little lower and then the bodice is more tailored or something. This one looks really badly tailored. I don’t know what it is but it’s not working. Her stylist did her wrong.

Chase Infinity - This looked amazing live. The photo isn't as pretty.

Mckenna Grace - Classic look.

I hate Teyonna Taylor's dress.

I like it but I don’t know why it’s see through in the middle. It’s already a LOT and very va-voom with the fit. It’s another dress where one less thing would improve it.

I hate McKenna graces dress. I usually like a nice classic ball gown but this looks like a wedding dress.

Agree on both dresses. I sort of like the idea of Taylor's dress, but it could def use editing. Perhaps if there was no see-through and if the fringing began lower down and was less extreme. The train looks like a very luxe shag carpet lol.

Also dislike McKenna's dress which, despite the color, somehow looks very matronly - something about the cut of the bust and heavy fabric. Disney princess wedding: but for the mother-of-the-bride...

Yes I am really disappointed in his hosting and the crude sledgehammer banter (such as Sigourney Weaver referring to Kate Hudson as. B^^^ch in the odd segment with Baby Yoda and Conan’s update on Casablanca)

Conan is usually brilliant - he seems so stiff and uncomfortable tonight …

I was listening to a podcast recently about cultural literacy, which is of course hard when there's so much culture to absorb but how people with shorter sttention spans just .... miss things.

Banter was pretty bad - RDJ and Chris Evans among the worst - but Sigourney Weaver's was among the best. It fully referenced her very famous line from Alien, and they cued it by refernece Alien before she said it and after she delivered the line she also referenced the movie.

Also funny - the Casablanca bit was aboslutely about people not getting things unless they are spelled out explicitly. Your post is the poster child for this!

+1 and adding that the neckline hits the absolute widest part of her which is why it’s so bad.

I was the one who said wedding dress and it’s actually super similar to my silk taffeta wedding dress from 25 years ago.

PP here. I agree with you. We're possibly about the same age so I have several, too.

The face also influences how a dress looks.

The best clip of the night comes from the after party red carpet when Nicole Kidman walks behind Lauren Sanchez posing.

Same. She looks like some sort of Easter marshmallow.
