My kid is one of them, they were not polled about the name.

Same, my kid submitted several names but didn't get to vote on anything.

And I think most of them would have preferred a large number of names other then Skyview, which is awful.

Yes and the kids are supposed to have a say in that. I think they would have liked to have had a say in the name and not ended up with such a bad one.

Lady said they named it for the sunsets! Wow.

Interesting that the school is in Sully District--and it is likely more students will attend from Sully than elsewhere--yet the SB members interviewed were Lady and Meren.

Lady says she lives "near the school." (I'm not sure where she lives, but I think she used to live on the other side of Herndon.)

Lady seems vulnerable to getting replaced next year, if she runs again.

Somehow I think they will be okay. Hopefully they are more concerned about other things happening in the world.

Seriously, Seema didn't even know that Crossfield was in her jurisdiction. She asked why she was invited to a meeting.

Crossfield isn’t in her district (it’s Meren) but she does represent some of the neighborhoods.

The fairfax now article says “students will also be allowed to specialize in aerospace science, technology or artificial intelligence and machine learning.” I thought that the pathways hadn’t been settled yet? Reid pretended that was just one possibility and magically it has become reality?
