Kids started joking about the name "sky high" weeks ago. They think it is hilarious that the school could be (and now is) named something that is related to drugs. FFS, teenagers are not babies. They know the term and reference.

I think the school board did it on purpose. There was nothing wrong with Western HS. The wanted a drug-themed HS name. I don’t know why.

Actually, I guess they could be the Jets. For some reason, I thought Colgan HS was the Jets, not the Sharks.

Actually, I guess they could be the Jets. For some reason, I thought Colgan HS was the Jets, not the Sharks.

It wouldn’t matter unless it was the mascot of another FCPS high school. Broad Run and West Springfield are both Spartans, Freedom and Edison are both Eagles, Riverside and Robinson are both Rams, etc.
