Yes, it IS chilling. There are many people like this in our country alone, I know some of them. They have been convinced that this ugliness is actually good, which is the scariest part of all. May we all fight the scourge of indoctrination into belief systems such as these in whatever way we can.

Signed, an atheist whose children were abused by scum like this and fights every day against it. At least let more of these "christians" be like the few on this thread that believe that humanity is what jesus wanted from us.

This is not what the conservative church has become, it is what it has always been. Liberal Christians, under the direction of Satan, are trying to redefine Christianity, as they did with marriage, to include and approve of homosexuality.

In Romans 1, Paul mentions homosexuality:

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

In 1 Corinthians 6:9 Paul continues preaching:

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate [homosexuals], nor abusers of themselves with mankind…shall inherit the kingdom of God.

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

And such were thieves, drunkards, and homosexuals but they repented, as Jesus taught: Go, and sin no more.

It is true the word homosexual did not exist before the 1800s, so the Bible used the words effeminate, unnatural affection, and leaving the natural use of.

Point blank: you do not have the holy spirit if God if your beliefs contradict the Bible, which was written by men under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. You are a worker of iniquity saying the Bibles approves of homosexuality.

All throughout history, people have used religion to subjugate and frighten people. They've bastardized a religion based on love and peace to suit their purpose. They like the fire and brimstone, and like to tell people "you're going to hell." That is not what Christianity is about, but as stated, people use religion to suit their purpose.
