So we’re supposed to let illegal immigrants into the country because the bible says so?
Look who are the Christo-fascists now. Well well well the tables have turned. |
I bring up homosexuality because this is the defining issue between liberals who want to redefine Christianity as they did marriage, and Bible-believing, born-again conservative Christians. You cannot deny that Methodists, Episcopalians, and other denominations have split on this subject. That is why I bring it up, because it comes down to what God’s word in the Bible says, or what man’s feelings are on the matter. It is the same with Genesis, which Jesus quoted that man and woman were created for each other on the same day. One did not evolve over millions of years and then by lucky chance, the other evolved within the other’s fertility years to produce children. Either the Bible is true or Evolution is true; they both cannot be true. |
Most countries are able to figure out how to manage immigration and illegal immigrants without resorting to unchecked violence, kidnapping, and mistreating the immigrants. |
Are you literally trying to defend slavery? As PP wrote, you are in need if some serious learning. |
Evolution is true. The Bible is a story book that has some wisdom in it because some people have always been wise. |
No we are supposed to follow the laws and constitution. We should allow them to seek asylum because it’s the law. We should treat them with love and dignity even when we must deport them and while in our “custody “ treat them either human rights. Feed them, cloth them Etc. |
What about Lilith. What about misinterpretions. The Bible can be parables and evolution true. God’s word is not in the Bible, man’s word from God’s teachings is in the Bible unless you read the original text |
+1. Well written. The Bible thumpers are really out in force in this thread. Goes to show just how crazy their thinking is. Also, being an illegal immigrant is a civil offense, not a criminal one. Should the government use the same tactics to enforce running a red light or speeding? |
If so, there'd be a lot of criminals in DC! I know because I'm a pedestrian. |
Once again the obsession with homosexuality transcends and forgives an Administration that wages war, casts out the poor, and literally assaults clergy. |
That sort of thinking means that nothing happening on Earth is a spiritual issue. I think how we deal with the physical suffering of others is 100% a spiritual issue. Do you truly think that when armed men throw children into a prison, that God has no opinion on the matter? |
Your whataboutism is noted. When Jesus was on the Earth, many were speculating about who he was. Some said he had a devil, he was a prophet, a lunatic. Some were scared Jesus would cause trouble bringing the might of the Roman empire down upon them. But Jesus asked Peter who said in Matthew 16:16 Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. The question is, who do you say Jesus is? Will you listen to the atheist who says it is bunkum? The hippie Jesus of liberals who chirp about not judging but ignore his commandments? Or will you take as authority what other religions say? I will take as authority what Jesus said, that is written in John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me… Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me |
When Jesus was on Earth 🍑🤡 He never existed. Paul talks only of a celestial Jesus. |
His existence is not important. He was not the son of God, because there is no God. |
No one said to "let illegal immigrants into the country", but to treat them humanely. |
