TSJ Director Movement

I haven’t seen any new clubs announcements yet. Don’t think it’s a good measure.

1) What is your plan with all of STJs girls teams in 12th of 12 in the standings for a turn around?
2) What assurances have you received from GA that STJ will not be demoted to ASPIRE?
As Coach 22s assistant, allow me to address:
1) What is your plan with all of STJs girls teams in 12th of 12 in the standings for a turn around? We plan to supplement lack of field space with Premier Performance training at TSJ flagship. Athletes may get a 20% discount
2) What assurances have you received from GA that STJ will not be demoted to ASPIRE? JO got hired so he can help us get back from Aspire - Oh crud, let the cat out of the bag.

There was a lot of "confirmed" rumors about them losing GA last year and none of it was true. I doubt any of it will be true again this year. If they were moved down, we would have seen something from GA welcoming them to Aspire.

I'm assuming that they will just do it quietly and move them to Aspire without an announcement.

Families in the GA program, there is a lot of talk here about a program change for the girl's side, have you heard anything from the club? What are other families saying? What are you planning on doing? Staying or looking to go check out another club?

Has there been any communication with you about upcoming changes? Even the location switch? That alone will have a big impact if you’re coming from Loudoun.

Agree. All their advertising on the boys side was for "MLS" and not "MLS B division". They were very dishonest with that.

GA wants to get down to 10 teams to help boost the level of play in mid Atlantic

If thats true and TSJ is removed that still leaves 11. Who's the other club that loses GA?

Has STJ denied the rumor that they’re going to Aspire? If they haven’t, it likely means they’re still figuring out what to communicate to families, since they haven’t released any updates after their last GA ID announcement. It seems like they may have been informed shortly after.

Loudoun seems more likely to drop than Alexandria. Maybe GA realizes they got scammed with NVA and LS being two separate clubs and forces them to drop a team.

Maybe next year for one of those.

As of now, Loudoun County can only support two “high” level teams (GA/ECNL). So Loudoun SC is most likely to drop to Aspire and NVA and VRSC stay GA.
Alexandria will continue to see an influx of girls from Arlington/Vienna RL teams. Parents are realizing GA is here to stay and the talent in RL is being diluted.

Why are yall so gung ho on teams getting kicked out? Do none of the other GA conferences have teams that are struggling? Teams just suck here?

Gung ho is wrong but badges for badge sake dilutes the talent.
