I’ve always felt like all the Kardashians are average at best, but clearly people see something I don’t.

I’m no Kardashian fan - but to be fair they are far from average. May not be your preferred style but physically average they ain’t.

I just wish they had more personality/ intellect/ depth. I’m embarrassed for their kids that they act like sex kittens/ fashion slaves so publicly and for so long with no regard for their kids’ feelings or dignity.

Kylie is still in her 20s so I give her a pass on this. This is the time to be glam and try whatever she wants.

She can dress however she chooses but some indication of life beneath the surface would add ultimate glam to her outfits.

She does express a personality— you just don’t like it. As for intellectual depth, it takes more smarts than you realize to survive being in the Kardashian spotlight your entire life and still remain sane.

You are probably right about me underestimating the skillsets and talents needed to survive in that world and stay sane.

I guess you missed the lecture in Devil Wears Prada, pp? Our opinions on fashion are relatively meaningless. There’s an entire industry of professionals who are qualified to say what is and isn’t good.

Fwiw, the pros are saying the custom silk Rodarte gown and how it was styled brought much needed drama to the fashion for the evening. It was meant to be costumey and over the top, and only someone as fashion-forward as Parker Posey could pull it off.
