All true but you have to admit this circumstance is an unnecessary consequence of having two awful presidents with ridiculously conflicting protocols in dealing with undocumented immigrants. None of this is necessary. This is all a product of crappy leadership at the top. We're better than this. |
Or, she could have obeyed the order to get out of the vehicle. She certainly didn’t make it better for herself. |
This, and she was not here legally. You can whine all you want, but at the end of the day she has zero business being here as she did not follow proper and established immigration channels. No other country just allows you to waltz in and start living your life. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. |
It doesn’t matter if it’s ICE or you’re being pulled over for speeding. if the officer says to get out, and you fail to comply, they can force you out and you can get arrested. Having two awful presidents doesn’t matter. This was true before those presidents took office. You can go down a black hole on YouTube or TikTok watching police body cam footage of people getting arrested for these very things, and they have nothing to do with ICE. People being pulled over for speeding, for running stop lights, for bad tags, and other traffic violations. Things escalate when the person refuses to show their license or respond to questions or to get out of the car. FAFO. |
I would have and you probably would have as well but if we didn't have legal residency in the US, we'd probably be reluctant to obey such an order from the Federal Police as well. I have empathy for my fellow human beings in that situation. It's an unnecessary situation caused by ugly politics and dysfunctional government. |
No it’s caused by being in another country illegally. If she didn’t do that, she’s not in this "situation". Her choices caused this. |
It's called empathy. You should try it. These are mostly good people seeking a better life and more opportunity for themselves and their families. They are caught up in the political games of our awful leaders. |
+1 |
No, it's not political games; it's reality that you can't just enter a country illegally, live there without permission, and ignore authority figures. There are desperate people all over the world. They cannot all move here. |
Commonsense is important, too. You should try it. |
Is that the best you can do? |
Are you a lawyer? Do you know anything about immigration law? I don't believe this is legal, but prove me wrong. |
There is almost no path for them to come here legally. There are many, many jobs here that immigrants fill, but there is no way for them to get a visa. Immigration reform should match workers up with US jobs and give people visas so they can work in the US industries that need them. It's crazy to keep people out when there are jobs here for them to fill. They aren't lining up to get into Russia. They come here because employers need them. |
Would you STFU! Your posts are identical. Do you have any other thoughts in your troll head? Clearly you have never met an undocumented immigrant. I've met many. Almost every one of them has endured violence so horrific you simply can't imagine it. Yet, they managed to get themselves to safety in the US. They want what every one of us wants -- a safe place to live, a job, a decent roof over their heads, good schools for their kids, etc. They are running from criminals, and there are jobs here for them. If you were as desperate, you would run to the US too, for safety. |
She's still disappeared.

ICE lies and says every brown person they arrest is a member of a gang, yet there's no evidence this woman had anything to do with a gang. This is so wrong, so sick, so horrifying. |
