It sounds like Trudeau was right, Trump is serious about invading Canada

In his little feeble mind Trump thinks. I'll give Putin Ukraine, then he'll take all of former SU and eastern block. Probably rest of Europe. I will look like weak little sh!t, so I'm going to take Canada and Greenland. So there!

We really need Trey Parker and Matt Stone to host a US-Canada solidarity rally in DC.

Yet they managed to defend itself against the US in 1812/13.

The US didn’t have nuclear weapons then.

The only reason Canada doesn’t have nuclear weapons is because it decided it didn’t want them, not because it can’t build them. Canada knows nuclear technologies, and they even hosted some of our weapons for a time during the Cold War.

If faced with an existential threat to its existence, they probably would reconsider their commitment to disarmament.

And that’s if the US even considers using them. We didn’t use them on the Afghans even though everyone thought they were Stone Age non-people. Annihilating our friends to the North and suffering the fallout every time the north winds blow? Whew-y. Talk about mutually assured destruction.

Of course Dementia Don is serious.

Hasn't the past month taught everyone he really is serious and that none of this is a "joke"?

So you think the US will annihilate Canada with nukes to own it. Well maybe you're right. Trump and Elon are attempting to annihilate the US to own the libs. Fools

Seriously, they would support a nuclear
Holocaust to own the libs, I have no doubt about it. I guess that it’s at least different than the standard holocaust that they seem to love defending/denying.

Yes, I think Trump and Musk would genuinely enjoy the prospect of a really big explosion — without caring about the consequences, especially about the consequences to others. Trump probably can’t even envision any negative consequences ever happening to himself, while Musk will figure he can sidle off to New Zealand or Mars if things go bust.

Canada will become a nuclear wasteland when we shoot down the ICBMs coming over the North Pole.

The Canadians hit way above their weight class in U.S. entertainment, especially comedy.

Another way to view it: the American education system is so weak that we need to resort to importing a lot of entertainment talent from Canada.

It is weird to be happy for our own country’s loss, but I am. I am glad that today Trump “press secretary” cannot “joke” about invading a neighboring country!

I suspect you have never cared about sportsball before.

MAGA'ts you never cease to amaze me... using unacceptable language for a neighboring country in the same of sportsball!!! No wonder half the country thinks you are in a cult.

English, do you speak it? Français, parlez vous?

Alternatively, they have no choice but to come to the US to make a living. We don't import them, they come here.

They come because they can make more money. Most don’t become US citizens except for specific reasons like Michael J Fox.

Yes and no. Some things (probationary firings, ICE roundups) he’s followed through on. But lots of other stuff (tariffs, Gaza plan, Greenland) he just announces and then forgets about.

First, yay Canada for defeating USA in hockey! I'm sure there was more motivation to win because of the tariffs etc.

Second, I believe Trump would invade Canada if he could and if this would improve his approval ratings. But it's hard to imagine the rest of the world standing by to let that happen. I'm thinking of the history books and a section on US annexing Canada - can't see it.

Right now I'm just boycotting US travel and goods. But I'd join the military and fight to my death if needed.

What did the rest of the world do during the Rwanda genocide? Russian invasion of Georgia (the country)? Annexation of crimea? Invasion of ukraine? They’ll express their deep concern.
