Canada knows nuclear technologies, and they even hosted some of our weapons for a time during the Cold War. If faced with an existential threat to its existence, they probably would reconsider their commitment to disarmament. And that’s if the US even considers using them. We didn’t use them on the Afghans even though everyone thought they were Stone Age non-people. Annihilating our friends to the North and suffering the fallout every time the north winds blow? Whew-y.
