Elon is coming for social security

The DOGE boys have skipped the hacking part and simply searched databases for screencappable material that they can present out of context and falsely claim is fraud and wrap in more conspiracy theories and the MAGA morons eat it up.

If D's had enough money to buy their traditional voters, then allowing the 8-10 million illegals may have worked well for them - give handouts to those voters amd buy them too. But instead the illegals took resources from the groups D's used to buy and D's said for awhile, who cares and by the time they realized they were about to lose the support of those voters they thought they could count on it was too late.

My parents wouldn't give me a dog, so I got a tiger. And the tiger tore off my leg. It is my parents fault!!!!

How does that person even get set up in the SSA system?

Ss was t even a thing 120 years ago.

How bad is their tech and software that birth years can be so irrational and still generate payments indefinitely?

This too.

You’re the moronic person in this thread. Comprehension is not your strong suit.

He is never going to look at disability fraud, because what he is going to find is a ton of MAGA voting coal miners and former tradesmen who never bothered with finding other work.

I've got a LOT of those in my family. My mom grew up in WV and all her relatives still live there. All of her brothers are "disabled" ex-coalminers. Too disabled to work but they can go fishing and hunting daily. Too disabled to work but they can zoom around their property on quads. Too disabled to work but they can scale a deer stand like it's a step stool. Too disabled to work but they can hoist themselves up into jacked up trucks like it's an Olympic sport.

If this is the only tweet, I think y’all are missing a big part of Elon’s tweet. He did not say that people were receiving social security payments. He said that was how many people were eligible based on their age and social security numbers in the database. There is no mention that payments were actually being made to all these individuals with social security numbers. Like another poster, my grandpapa never filed for social
Security, but had a number, paid into the system for forty years and died before he ever made a claim. He would be in the over hundred category on Elon’s list.

Why can't Musk post proof of all this fraud? Probably because no one on his team knows what proof is. They think waving a piece of paper around that backs up their statement is proof.

I just watched a video this morning of a guy explaining these numbers as a failure of Musk's team in not knowing how to read and quarry COBAL.

He said he wouldn't be surprised if Musk doesn't know it's wrong because Musk isn't a coder, he's a payer. That made me pause and yep, he's right. Musk isn't a tech genius. He's just a dude with lots of money.

Where do you see that anyone is collecting money? This is just a way to find data entry errors. NOWHERE does it say checks are being sent out.

Seriously maga. You guys have GOT to stop believing every far-right post and infographic you see. It has never been easier to verify accuracies. Nobody is asking you to tackle the periodicals or microfiche at the local library. At the very least, just copy and paste in Chat GPT and ask if it is accurate. This isn’t 100% reliable, but better than nothing. You can even take a screenshot and ask if it is accurate or ask to explain it in context.

And this is exactly why they are approaching everything with an axe instead of a scalpel. If they really start looking into specific people who are abusing the system, specific feds who are low performers, specific people who did not get their jobs based on merit…they will learn things about particular demographics they don’t really want to know.

I mean, why not walk in to each agency’s HQ and inquire about personnel with low performance reviews and fire those people?

According to the BBC, “There is a 2023 report by the social security inspector general, external which identified about 19 million people born in 1920 or earlier with no death data on file - although only 44,000 of whom were still receiving benefits.”

“Only 44,000 people,” - multiplied by how much money, every month, year upon year?
