Looks like Maryland ultimately lost as well — even with the former biased GSA woman who went against the recommendation of the GSA panel and the desire of FBI leadership, and even after the shenanigans pulled by the MD Congressional delegation.

The “decision” for Greenbelt was clearly a political one, not one based on costs and benefits. The current proposed change also is political. Shock - Federal decisions in metro DC are political.

DC crime now below pre-pandemic levels. Check.

This is why we didn't flee for the suburbs during COVID. Everything is bouncing back even bigger than before.
