I’m sure Vance will be great on rhetoric, speaking confidently without raising his voice, and he’ll get in some great digs. No question. This is his moment to shine. Young, conservative men will likely be very pleased.

He also won’t be Trump, led around like a dog on a leash (thereby proving how easy he is to manipulate).

Yes, unfortunately I believe you're right. Thankfully, no one really cares about the VP debate. It has never moved the needle.

It will be interesting to see what kind of “look” JD Vance goes with tonight, especially in terms of make-up and clothing choices.

Something fairly conservative or something more fashion-forward?

Will his make-up be subtle and classy (maybe a smokey-eye shadow kind of treatment?) or something more playful and dramatic?

This is my take too. I told my husband I'm probably not going to bother watching. Vance will just lie repeatedly about Walz's record or make a mountain out of a molehill on some technicality. He'll try to get a rise out of Walz, because Walz is a regular human who will be appalled by his twisting his record.

Meanwhile Vance is a hypocrite who has already gone on record to say he "creates stories" about immigrants eating pets to serve and amplify his own conservative agenda. F--- Vance. I'm not giving him a platform to spew more lies.

Vance was probably debate prepped by his wife Usha and mentor Amy Chua to attack Walz. I don't think I can bear to watch. I wish the Republicans had nominated a VP I could stomach watching debate but I can't bear Vance.
