I somehow don’t think so I don’t think we move in the same circles. I’m all for chasing - how many innocent citizens and 15 year olds were hurt in police chases back when we had the police?

These are criminals. Crimes have victims. Why are you more concerned with hypothetical 15 year olds than the real victims of crime?

But they didnt did they? They made a policy based on a misplaced ideology in a moment in time in which that gave them an election opportunity boost.

I read everything about this and think it was a knee jerk reaction that is self serving. It has resulted in no circumstance under which a warranted chase can be conducted with any guarantee that the cop won’t be imprisoned

If you are interested in being honest learn the facts. The no chase policy chapter comes after the no white supremacy (?!) chapter in Allen’s anti-police bill which is now the law in DC and had directly contributed to the horrendous living conditions in his ward
