And so therefore the police should be allowed to endanger innocent bystanders, otherwise they can't do their job? You have a very low opinion of the police. |
|
I think the police should do their jobs. And not fear prison
I think the ATVs scooters carjackers should not be allowed to endanger innocent citizens. Would shooting on sight be a better option than apprehending you think? What’s the alternative? Just atta boys. Name 1 innocent bystander injured by the police chasing a criminal in DC this century; can be before the disastrous police bill. Name 1. Until you do, I’ll assume you show no propensity for critical thinking and gave been handed or worse internalized Allen talking points. We are done here. You’ve been shown up, have no doubt. |

The fact that this person cannot name a single one is hilarious to me 😂. Pro-criminal posters aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed here. And whether police “should be allowed to endanger innocent bystanders” by chasing is a separate issue than whether it is literally murder when a person being chased dies via their own crappy driving / motor skills, lack of a helmet, and their small brain instinct to actually run in the first place. It’s very hard to pin that all on the cop doing the chasing, unless you live in a delusional, pro-criminal, oppressor versus oppressed world. |

There was a balanced albeit quite strict no chase internal MPD police before the bill. That policy could be dialed up and down internally. The bill as most of the ones the Council introduced recently was a political posturing tool that legislated something that already existed in a counterproductive way and did nothing to solve any of the myriad problems the DC is contending with, and hence the recall.
If you are going to call me and other posters not keen on crime not sharp, you better back that up. Emojis don’t count. |
| Unless you’re only referring to that poster who couldn’t name any of the thousands injured. In which case, I agree and that’s a good emoji |
I do too. Their job is to serve and protect. Their job is NOT to endanger innocent bystanders. |

You have no credibility until you can. |
3 bystanders were injured in this police chase in Wheaton, just last December. https://www.wusa9.com/article/news/local/maryland/juvenile-killed-police-chase-crash-wheaton-body-camera-footage-released/65-7ea9344d-951c-40d0-aebf-ca0a0bc4f34f It happens, and it happens frequently. To say it doesn't happen is to deny reality. |
| Not DC. |
|
The point is solve the problems we do have
ATVs scooters off the streets Carjackers in prisons Criminals in prisons Don’t solve the problem we never had in DC and disincentivize any talented cop from taking a job in a jurisdiction where they are put in prisons instead |
Far too logical. |
|
To sum up, Allen spent untold taxpayer $$$ to solve a problem that didn’t exist and create a myriad new problem which are destroying the city
He wasn’t alone of course, but the cabal has to start to unravel somewhere firsr |
So it's the police putting the public in danger and they're only doing their job if the criminal doesn't flee in a car? No wonder your police force doesn't want to work, I wouldn't be vigilant about protecting a bunch of rich idiots either. |
|
Allen’s useful idiot couldn’t name 1, 1 innocent bystander injury this century and before Allen’s police bill.
We lowered it from 3 to 1 to help the test optional, liberal arts college sod, to no avail |
