If they just killed each other, people would shrug their shoulders and move on. That's how it was in the 90s. Crime rates were terrible, but it was mostly gang members killing gang members in bad neighborhoods. What's going on today is different. Now you are getting a gun pulled on you when you're putting gas in the car or have some questions about your Verizon plan or buying shoes. It's different. Uh, urban youth, don't seem to have a conscious or empathy or any sense of decency these days. Obviously not everyone. But there are a lot of feral teenagers and young adults in DC. It's a problem |
Someone who isn't unjustly trying to put everyone's peace of mind and safety at risk to make up for historical injustice. They aren't helping anyone by going easy on criminals. |
|
Oh calm down. Smoke a peace pipe |
| DC liberals are guaranteed democratic voters, no matter how high crime goes there. |
If you ignore and don't report, then you'll have a lowered DC crime rate. |
OK, I'm PP and I have to admit that you DID get me for a second. Thank you. |
True. This fact is why the city council and the mayor are free to ignore you when you demand crime reduction: you can not and you will not touch them. What are you going to do? Vote republican?? (of course you won’t. Ever). They know that. So just shut up about crime already. |
But shouldn’t they get a second chance, given their upbringing ? |
Like with zero consequences? No. That doesn’t get you anywhere but a crime state. |
People move. You must have come after the 80/90s. And there were people like Carol Schwartz. |
Sometimes they literally will not take a report, that helps too. |
+1 Excellent idea! Crime in the DC area is not a concern! |
| I don't even know if most of the "they need r help, not convictionz" posts are from real people or russian trolls. I literally do not know because it's so insane to read it. |
Who cares? If they commit a crime, they go to jail. Black, white, yellow, who cares. A criminal is a criminal. There is no helping most of the criminals at this point. I hope you’re kidding. |
