| Got a nice email from DCSC today apologizing for the data breach. Seems the new “club” is starting with stolen data — not a good look and not something I want to support. |

Is it really stolen if they merged, and then separated again? Why would the data belong to DCSC solely? |

Um, because that’s how data ownership works. If you leave a company, you don’t get to take their data (customer lists, contact info, etc.) with you. |

What is your definition of good? 2014 blue is good, like top 5-10 in the DMV IMHO. 2014 red is a big drop off compared to the drop off at Coppermine, Armour, Bethesda, etc for their second teams. I was not impressed with the coaching I saw on red but you may only want rec+ and it is sufficient for that. |

Yeah this is not cool. I get emailing people you directly coach, so they know where you’re going. But I somehow got the email and my kid hasn’t played for dc soccer for years. |

| It really is getting quite personal and toxic now. There are screenshots of messages between departing and remaining coaches being shared on team group chats, including some very unpleasant insults. Nobody is coming off positive here. |

I feel really bad for the position DCSC put all of these coaches and parents in. This is truly and strictly a soccer business to them. Are the people who are running the club from DC? The club seems stale and there is no diversity. Check out Paragon Soccer if you want a good community
This might be where the problem is stemming from. |

Well DCSC is a non-profit -- not that you can't make money from that, but the end of the day there are limits on what can happen and there's a 990 to go read if you have doubts. Paragon is just a business that makes money off children. Gross. |
