What brands are cool among middle school girls?

You could take a bit of your own advice. What’s cool for a 15 year old will (and should) be substantially different from what’s cool to a 35 year old. In the teen forum, no one cares what a middle aged woman thinks about how teens should dress.

This is a mother’s forum, hopefully there aren’t a bunch of middle schoolers posting.

Are you saying that teenagers all fit in one group? They all wear the same thing? That might be true of a slight majority of teens in a regular middle class high school but there are always a group of well dressed teens who don’t care what the other 15 year olds are wearing. They will wear what looks good on them.

Omg you are an obstinate one. The OP is literally asking what is popular. The random two girls who are wearing something you deem "well-dressed" but is not popular isn't her question. Her question is also about middle school more than high school.

I have boys but friends with girls. They seem to wear lululemon, alo, oversized sweatshirts (not sure brand), uggs.

The kids don’t give a F about “flattering,”they all wear weird ill-fitting stuff that is also comfortable. “Flattering” is for their middle aged moms.

Agree. Most of the current trends are not the most flattering.

Yes crocs are popular, but for sneakers it’s usually Nike Blazers or AirMax270. Also the plastic Birkenstocks with socks, don’t ask me why.

Birkenstocks are still the go to sandals for the Lesbian crowd. Some of the old hippies and deadheads too. Crocs are good for working people because all you have to do is wipe them down. sneakers that are comfortable should be ideal for middle school.

Many kids at our affluent MS wear birks! Metallic, tan, and even those new rubber/plastic ones.

They are comfortable! There’s a reason they’ve been around forever. Well made, sensible and well priced.

Because PP tried to claim that all these brands are for hippies and "working people." Like she's Violet Crawley and we need to explain what a "week end" is.

Hospital workers, nurses, doctors, hairdressers, chefs use crocs for comfort and easy clean up, sounds like a smart choice.

Every hospital that I have worked at bans Crocs. They're a trip hazard. They provide poor support for people who need to be on their feet for a long time. They're bad shoes.

Most hospitals require shoes to have backs so crocs are out. The employees who wear clogs wear Dansko ones, which are closed.

You can’t put “the kids” all in one group. There are still kids into fashion who look their best every day. And there are still kids that don’t care and will wear baggy pants and tops. To each his own.
