Why are old people so scared of assisted living facilities?

I get your frustrations, I do. I had to deal with my dad's physical and mental decline from Parkinsons. But I think looking at things from her side may help you a lot.


With all due respect? Feels not important if they get in the way of moving a decision forward. All of us dealing with this know fear plays a part. That doesn't make it any easier, especially when that fear causes them to dig in.
