You mean if someone invites us to dinner or a wedding or anywhere and when we order, eat, whatever a veg item and people ask you this same question, we should just shut up? Is that right? No. Thank you very much. |
Nope, we really don't. The fact that you just called it virtuous tells me, though, that you know we made the best choice. Lol |
Exactly |
Which is why people are still dying and having long covid and dying from blood clots. I'm wearing mine. |
To clarify, you find yourself explaining over and over that breast milk is best? Who are you talking to, and why are you talking about it over and over? |
Well, it's a better substitute. So give that up. |
+1 |
How do you know ans why do you care ? Let me guess you are high SES |
NP. I'm a vegetarian and this is true. People ask. I respond briefly, people get weird about it. I will say that over the past several years, people in general have become more accepting of vegetarianism because it's more common now. They still ask why I'm not eating Uncle Bob's smoked ribs but I don't get as many questions asking why, and do you eat fish and what do you eat for protein, and what if you were lost in the wilderness and all you had to eat was a deer, would you starve? I'm ok with those questions as conversation. What I'm responding to is the other pp's request to stop talking about my vegetarian diet. Simple answer: stop asking. |
Yup ! Agree |
Telling the kids, I’ve longer than them and know what I’m talking about on certain matters of life. |
Exactly. The obsession that people have with what other people do or don’t eat is crazy. |
Do you pronounce CAR or Care? |
This is not true. |
So are the advantages and opportunities that come from being high SES. |
