Yes, it probably will. I was disappointed with Rasking for doing it. He really has no idea what day-to-day disasters Elrich creates, and then everyone around him has to work four times as hard to fix it all.

The only group where he’s maintained solid support is among the hangers-on in the housing industry, the kinds of people who think developers want to make less money. Your question presumes that he actually cares about anything other than himself. If his loss and the manner in which he loses is so bad that it hurts his reputation, then I am sure that he will regret that. Otherwise, the only thing he’ll probably regret is not winning.
