Oh please. This is just a TV ad. |
I didn't leave a random VM. I called and left a specific message and requested a call back. Are you saying his office may or may not be receiving messages from constituents, who knows? That's ridiculous. And I am not seething publicly -- I'm posting on a thread about his chances of reelection. I explained why I won't be voting for him again. |
You don't understand what buying an election means. It does not mean funding your own election. It means bribing people to get elected. I seriously doubt that is happening. |

Another poll shows Elrich leading Blair by 20 points. The poll with Blair closing in was his most favorable internal poll.
I don’t think any pills can be trusted. |
Liberal but not progressive. |
They need to specify their methodology. Then it all makes sense. But they often refuse to do so. The poll Blair commissioned is by a legit polling firm that does fairly well predicting election results. He has the money to pay for legit companies. It’s not cheap. |

3rd. Place. Every. Poll. You’d think that he’s get the hint? But if you are waiting on Riemer to do the right thing you’d be waiting a long time. |
And yet, every poll has the candidates in the same order: 1. Elrich 2. Blair 3. Riemer This has been consistent. Maybe you don’t trust the % but that’s not relevant when the order of finishing is the most important. |
I’m suggesting that not getting a call back ONE time from ONE VM is something that I, personally, would not use to make an important decision, in part, because I would be unable to verify that the message was actually correctly delivered. Those are my standards though, and I’ve grown even more flexible with the vagaries of relying on technology for communication. I would feel differently if I had actually spoken to a person, and then not received a call back. |
Good one. A neighborhood friend kept inviting me to fundraisers for Reimer. I just ignored the emails. |
REALLY a huge mistake 4 years ago because Blair lost by 77 votes. I supported Rose Krasnow in 2018. my husband & neighbor both said I was throwing my vote away, but I really liked her. Shit, I wished so bad I could have undone my vote after the results were announced. I think I could have found another 76+ people in her camp who would have done the same. |
Actually, I voted for Krasnow in the primary and voted for Elrich in the general. I should have voted for Floreen. But, same result. |
| I see the Riemer bros are back out with the trite attacks on Blair. It’s ironic because Riemer has been a gullible mark for corporations looking for handouts. Among the problems with Riemer’s negative campaign is that the attacks miss Elrich but land on Blair. People know Elrich because he’s held office for 16 years and was active in the community before then. Love or hate Elrich, you know him. Not as many people know Blair. The negativity makes Hans an unattractive candidate, so attacking Blair just helps Elrich. As Riemer’s 12 years in elected office come to the end, Riemer’s lasting legacy will be helping Elrich get another four years in office. Great work, Hans. |
Going negative when his back is against the wall is just in keeping with who he is and that is someone who is completely full of crap which even extends down to the “positive, nice guy” persona that he spent the last 12 years trying to cultivate. Turns out that was a lie too. I wonder if there is anything about that guy that’s real that you can trust. |
