Who said anything about paying for sex? To different discussions. |
You might want do do your research before you go declaring Iceland a sexism free haven. |
And how does the endless minutia of your dating history tie in? |
| Iceland, Scandinavian countries and Germany practically consider it a norm when young female students pay rent to landlord with sex. Prostitution is also legalized. The US traditional gender roles following on dates is a far cry from European views on genders |

It is amazing how such a simple question could invoke such emotion and hostility.
When I was a young person (decades ago) a man paid for all expenses when a couple went out, and the woman reciprocated by hosting him for home cooked meals. It worked great. I bet a lot of people are going to roast me bad and call me all kinds of names for saying something so awful, sexist and provocative. Fortunately, I don't care so go ahead and have at it! |
What decade was this? |
Yeah, I was wondering… when we first started dating my husband paid for dates and hosted me for the home cooked meals. |
Women who aren't prostitutes. |
I have never cooked for a man on a date, but several men have cooked for me. Yay! |
Yeah, that's just how it is. Old fashioned values were and are the best. IN the example where she goes and gets some snacks and drinks for us, that's great. Even offering to take a turn paying for dinner (I'd never let you) is fine but any man who expects you to pay, pay half, or separate checks is someone to be avoided. |
Speak for yourself. I love it when a woman does herself up for me. |
Not at all.....I just don't want to be deceived and out of $ at the same time. |
Who cares? Last time i checked we're not copying Germany. They have their own problems (and sex trafficking/sexual slavery is a HUGE one) |
Sorry girl, nothing about that is misogyny. Just the cold, hard facts of who gets to be at the top of the heap in the dating pool, male or female. No one wants an ugly. I know it's hard to realize. |
That’s what a lot of women on here are arguing—the man needs to pony up the dough on dates as admission price to the hallowed cooch. |
