Not quite true.

True for students who are STEM-only. Very untrue for students who have genuine ability in other areas. TJ offers tremendous non-STEM opportunities that students don't take advantage of, and as a consequence get a chance to shine in sports, arts, and other areas that they wouldn't get at their base schools.
