I know it seems TOOOOO early for this, but can we get a gift list going?

We just took ours down because our kids (7 and 10) got bored of it within 6 months. And it ruined our trees they were attached to. I don’t recommend.

We just explain it's not possible for Santa to wait til the last minute. Imagine if all the kids in the world waited until Christmas Eve to tell Santa what they'd like? It would be chaos. So, Santa requires you to send him a list before Thanksgiving. If you don't know by Thanksgiving, that's okay, Santa will just "surprise" you with something.

I don't really see a need to bend over backwards to go searching for a last minute gift request. Just explain that Santa already picked out something awesome. Kids need to learn that "asking" isn't the same as "demanding."

Ripsticks? My kids, both the athletic one and the less coordinated one love them!

I'm a Prime Member as well. Even though items say they are in stock and Prime shipped, they may not get here in two days. I've also had a number of subscription items not arrive on time, or at all.

I’m considering a karaoke machine for my 7- and 9-yo kids too! DH is not yet persuaded.

I have 10 and 12 year old girls that want one as their one big Christmas gift this year. I'm on the fence. We previously thought they were somewhat dangerous, but now that they're older, I'm thinking that it might be good exercise. On the flipside, being older, maybe they won't use it as much as they think they will? And then I'll have a trampoline in my garage...

Too dangerous. Stick to your guts for like two more years.

Skip it. And not just for danger reasons. Your kids are on the older side of trampoline play and won’t get many years out of it. My 13 year old stopped using hers when she was 11. Plus it ruins your lawn and quickly becomes an eyesore.

We got one for our 11 year old over the summer. Spent a lot of money on it and she’s used it like 4 times. Huge fail.

Our 12 year old lives outside on ours. Occasionally if she asks, teens will join.

To counter all the anti-trampoline people (kids love and use ours often), I vote anti-karaoke machine. We did that too. Soooooooo loud and obnoxious.
