Hopefully the prosecutor will be disbarred for this.

Had he the authority to do so, the judge would disbar counsel for the prosecution on the spot.

I hope the defense (or whoever needs to do it) does push for this.

The only good thing here is that if the judge throws out the case then at least the jurors won’t be threatened or attacked for acquitting him.

Lots of lawyers on here who got their law degrees from Trump University.

The prosecutor just pointed out that Kyle may have waived his 5th Amendment right by talking about that night with the press, and the judge is open to that argument.

Disagree. He comes across as an incredibly naive and earnest 17 year old kid.

I think even if you get jurors questioning self-defense they aren't going to see intent.

This website is full of people who defend 15 and 17 year old “kids” who commit armed carjackings, even when the victim ends up dead, even when they have a criminal history. And yet now you have a white 17 year old kid literally defending himself against multiple attackers and they want him to do life for it.

+1 This. And why would the title of the thread include the race of the accused?

Because Kyle went and searched this trouble out. He crossed state lines to do so. He has no standing here.

He knows he doesn’t have a case.

🙄

People who commit armed carjackings aren’t “searching trouble out”? Please.

Just listen to yourself occasionally and realize how ridiculous you are being.

Whoever sold this guy a gun should be charged with negligent homicide.

Yes! And the car dealer, who sold the car to the mother of Rittenhouse, who used the car, to drive him there!

I can't believe there is no mask mandate in this court.

Um no but he should be charged with selling a gun to a minor.

So now the prosecution has established that KR is a liar.

How so? Explain. I haven't been following closely today.

What's the deal with this judge? He seems way biased.

KR is on tape talking to media saying he is an EMT, that’s a lie.

The prosecutor should be disbarred for simultaneously wearing a lapel pin, tie bar, AND pocket square. Way to much flare for a criminal trial. Halloween is over kid.

I'm very anti gun pro BLM but from what I've seen this is just the result of several individuals all making poor choices meeting up in a perfect or imperfect storm and an example of why we should leave policing to police.
