If she never had a concussion, then why was she suddenly wearing a helmet? Coaches were saying she had a concussion, so that has been the best information available. If not, great. But I also heard Centerville played someone with a stress fracture on her leg. |
Maybe wearing helmet out of an abundance of caution? Helmet or no helmet #22 is a gamer. Would most certainly have to be cleared by the trainer and I am sure her parents would also have a say in her playing status. |
She has worn a helmet for 2 seasons, that is hardly sudden. How about you stay in your lane and worry about the well being of your own players. I am pretty sure her parents and the training staff have it under control. |
Thats why these posts kill me, as parents from outside a program come on here and spew fake news. Leave Cville and our coaches alone as they know what they are doing and go back to smoking that stuff at Oakton. Someone said it before, Oakton has one decent season and they think they are the best team in the past 20 years and most well balanced team. Take a look at your attack and ask yourself if you are well balanced.
Oakton is one and done this season, good luck next year with a below 500 season.... |
Not a Centreville parent, but I know for a fact she didn’t have a concussion. And she was wearing the helmet before she got hurt |
This. This right here. No one in the boats needs to be talking about specific girls negatively like you do. It is embarrassing for you and all of us. If you want to post about girls specifically while being negative, make sure you post your name and school you represent along with it. Stop hiding behind an anonymous board |
So now I guess we all know that it is Centerville parents who are rude, call people names, and get their buttons pushed so easily. Hopefully, it’s just the 3 game losing streak talking. |
Where’s the negativity or rude talk it that post? Reads to me like the poster laid it out clearly and to the point. If you or others got a case of butthurt from it or the correction of misinformation, well, that’s on you.
Cville parents are rude? We’ve found the opposite at their tournament a few weeks back and going out there just because it’s a fun team to watch. Some very nice people who didn’t second guess speaking with us and being kind even if our kids play for another school. Not to mention they have pretty darn good BBQ and the announcer is humorous (and know his stuff). 😂 |
They ran out of breakfast burritos, so they ain’t all that… |
Being nice in person and being nice behind the Great Wall of Anonymity are two different things. |
The Washington Post has Oakton ranked #5 in the DMV, ahead of SSSA, Stone Ridge, St. John’s, and Paul VI. |
Well without any home games in the Districts or Regions you won’t have to worry about the breakfast burritos or the announcer who does a great job, agreed. Just sensing some frustration on the board as of late. The one and done comment was quite funny also. Do you mean one and done in the Regions or Districts? |
The rude person would be the one talking about a specific kid who they have no personal relationship to, spewing false info on and accusing her parents and training staff of being flippant about her health. That is the rude person in this situation. |
laughing at the bogus ranking with oakton at #5 ahead of all those other teams. Just my opinion, but that ranking is totally incorrect as those teams would smash oakton . |
Can you post it? |
