It's June 15th. Has your player received any calls? Did you expect them to?

Good luck to all. Would be interested to know if players received calls from D1 schools they had not reached out to prior.

While my DD is a 2027 grad and went through this last year, she has several on her team that are 2028's and all had calls today. It will be interesting to see where they commit.

I did here that the official visit time got pushed out now to mid-August from August 1 which only I think causes more kids to commit before visiting schools. Plus, I believe the whole timeframe is getting pushed out next year as well from the summer before Junior year to mid-year Junior year. Ugh.

Some of those too, but some mid majors that hadnt reached out through coach. Others had communicated through coach, some over a year ago and others as recently as NC showcase.

I think this is more on the girls side. DS is off to college this fall and his friends who were recruited D1 didn’t hear anything June 15 (or whatever the date was his year). As a matter of fact, his friends playing D1 mostly committed late junior - early senior year. He’s playing D3 and it’s an even later timeline for that. There just aren’t many spots on the boys side with international players and the transfer portal.

Don’t listen to them. If anything the timeframe has moved up. This is what people to sabotage the competition. Get ready for misinformation and hiding of information from people you thought were your friends. Game on.

I don’t think you’re understanding what they’re saying. The official NCAA timeline is going to be moved back. It’s not official yet, but it’s very likely to happen. Nobody’s trying to sabotage you or your precious DD.
