A girl from Bethesda committed to UNC this week.

She didn’t even play the Spring season at BSC. Played for DC Power and did not mention BSC on her IG. Also is a USYNT player.

The parents deserve the credit. Her parents knew to have her develop with certain coaches, some affiliated with BSC and some not, that developed her. She was with a BSC coach this morning with my kid and continues to train with them regardless of who she plays with. She is following the blueprint of Emily Fox who stills trains with a BSC coach.

I follow the coach, not the club. This club banter will keep your kids mediocre if you feed into it.

The parents deserve all the credit for what? This is another training addicted player with connected parents and the pathway was paved. I'm sure she is talented.

There is no such thing as the "Emily Fox" blueprint. Just because some players likes some coach and they work well together doesn't make a repeatable pathway for other kids and the same coach.
