PhD? Can’t be a VDA parent.

This is just racist and classist and y’all Arlington and Bethesda parents need to get over yourselves. You see a brown girl playing soccer and think she must be on scholarship. SMH.

You must be new here. Better watch those Arlington parents clutching those pearls for their little Mia.

So no consistency, just blips?

It should not be hard to have a few D1 commits IF “VDA is the best club to be recruited from.”

Who said there won’t be any commits from VDA? DCUM is wild.

Some PHD. Exact words were “the best 2010’s at VDA are 2029’s relax.”

The best 2010’s I know committed already or will in August 2026 after their official visits.

So if a player commits in September, they’re not a top player?

This is just for girls? I’ve noticed the boys this didn’t start posting their commitments until late into their senior year.

🤷‍♀️ I said the best players I know which are USYNT level and when they are committing. I don’t have the energy to judge your player or manage your emotions.

I’m a parent of a 2028 player. ECNL team in VA. This is our first time doing this. Have to say I am pretty disappointed so far in the club’s take on this whole process. The last 2 years all we’ve heard is how much placement the club has done. Play here and you will be recruited. Now June 15 has passed and we feel like we’re on our own. Trust the process they say. Everyone’s journey is different they say. Keep putting in the work. The club is focused on a handful of favorites and the rest of us are fighting for scraps. Will not help us with simple intros to coaches at any of the schools which they think are too good for us. What a crock.

Not PP but you’re ignorant to the process. Committing early doesn’t mean that you are a top player and committing later doesn’t mean that you aren’t.

Saw a player commit to Southern Connecticut on June 15. Solid commitment, but is that better than a player committing to Virginia Tech in October?

The real answer is that neither commitment is better than the other. It all depends on what the player and their family are looking for.

These kids all run their own race. Committing in June isn’t a flex. That player just made their decision quicker than others.

No emotions here. Just know enough to speak about the process unlike you.

So basically, you’re upset that your daughter isn’t good enough for the schools that you want her to go to? Club Coach won’t stake his reputation on your daughter because she’s not good enough for that program.

What a crock, but not on the club.

A lot of emotions. I am sorry it is difficult to read my words through your watery eyes. Supercopa, ECNL, and your “elite” club were suppose to make this process easier. My conversation was a tip of the sphere conversation so I am sorry if it is not relatable to your plight.

You are right, I don’t know the process. I am being educating on the process and simply shared what the USYNT players are doing as they are educating me.

Run your race with your child and stop trying to mix my words. You might want to check your emotions because if you are this emotional from an anonymous DC Urban Mom, Lord knows how poorly you present in the family interview.

Congrats to the local girl committed to UNC.

The part that you bolded is correct. It’s funny though because you’re highlighting it as if it isn’t.

You’re poking fun at PP, who is right by the way, and you’re the one with no clue how any of this goes.

What’s your hypothesis? The best players commit in the first week of recruiting and if you don’t, you’re not any good?

You sound like one of those racist Arlington dads always chirping at players from the sideline and then running to an anonymous online form to talk crap about children. That club also has terrible college placement so it would make sense that you’re a parent there and know nothing about the process.
