| VDA had a player commit to D1 on the boys side. |
The parents deserve the credit. Her parents knew to have her develop with certain coaches, some affiliated with BSC and some not, that developed her. She was with a BSC coach this morning with my kid and continues to train with them regardless of who she plays with. She is following the blueprint of Emily Fox who stills trains with a BSC coach. I follow the coach, not the club. This club banter will keep your kids mediocre if you feed into it. |

I did find this website helpful, you can filter players who have committed by state, gender, and class. Here is VA, Girls, 2028:
https://prepsoccer.com/virginia/player-database/girls/?player_name=&high_school_name=&class%5B%5D=2028&commitment= Note, I’m note sure how official this is, but it seems to be parent inputs data. |
| Then, you can filter by committed and uncommitted. |
Topdrawersoccer.com has a similar function. |
He’s a 2027. These people are trashing 2026 players that aren’t committed in the first week of recruiting. Nvm the 2027’s. Imagine what they have to say about those kids? |
A boy going D1 if not a flex even if he committed in Kindergarten. Different pathway. He committed D1 because he has no higher prospects he is willing to pursue overseas or locally and the route for boys is HG contract, USL, international academy, etc. |
OK. Just to keep track. If you’re a girl and don’t commit in the first week of recruiting, you stink. If you’re a boy and you go to college to play soccer, even division one, it’s not to be celebrated and you also stink. |
Nonsense. Some kids want the real college experience. |
Bsc? Bullshit coaches? |
Correct |
It’s hard to keep up with parents on here. So how about you flex on all us here and tell us where your kids ended up? |
What about boys that play USL and then go to college? Is that a failure too? |
Nothing is a success or failure if a kid is maximizing their talents and their journey. It is just not the flex people want it to be. The influx of washed up European academy players proves that. |
