Omfg. HE DID NOTHING WRONG. NOTHING. Stop trying to blame the victim. This was 100% on her. |

So, can we finally agree this woman is crazy? Have you read the latest news about how she stalked a white male colleague, made aggressive threats, filed multiple police reports and ultimately filed a lawsuit against him?
Remember several pages ago when multiple posters said she wasn’t crazy—just racist? Remember all the posts saying she would never disrespect a white man? Remember the posts that claimed she was an angel at work and her colleagues would defend her? I told you she was an aggressive lunatic! And, she is also racist. |
So, you’ve made up your own version of reality where there’s a longer video containing information that is somehow being suppressed, and you’re instant on shifting the conversation from what actually happened to hypotheticals about children. Mmmmmmkay. |
2/3 of this post are people trying to say he has a part to play in the situation. If people (person?) would just admit he was wrong to bait her, this would be over and done with. There is no doubt who is in the wrong on the other post. |
Over here in beautiful Marin County there is not a single thread on the neighborhood sites that mention Amy Cooper. That’s because this is an area that is raising the next generation of Amy Coopers. Nor is there a single mention of the riots on the neighborhood threads. The white silence is just awful. Most recently the AG had to step in with a desegregation order. 5 minutes from Tiburon and Mill Valley and literally just over the Golden Gate Bridge. Hardly made the news. Some high school kids made a video about the situation and it barely got any attention. This principal named Matt Nagle (look it up) with years of experience came in and ran against the superintendent of schools with a platform for more equal education. He was demoted to a kindergarten teacher role (he sued and eventually won). But seriously, take a look at what the wealthiest liberal areas of the country are like and suggest how we fix this racism

The video gives you a good sense of the level of racism going on. The approach here is if you first restrict the home buying through real estate agents, then make it unbearable for the non white folks if they do get a place, profile them, use social control to add pressure, take away their educational opportunities.. they will leave and it will be all white and therefor no racism. It’s sick. |
I must be very confused. Are there laws that children must be leashed in Central Park? Last time I checked dogs are animals and children are human beings. But, but, what if? What if his phone was actually a gun? And what if his binoculars were actually an armored tank? Wouldn’t you be scared for your life? What if we completely change the situation so that poor white lady is innocent? |
Hopefully he rethinks his scare tactics. Hopefully she rethinks her privileged white lady tears. And I wish she'd be charged for reporting a false crime. Sadly, I bet none of these happen. |
This creepy birder is not a VICTIM just stop.
He is the aggressor both then and later. There was clearly a longer conversation where he also tells her to go to another part of the park. He wanted that park to himself and he threatened a woman to get it. Faced with that guy, I would have been intimidated. Too bad SHE didn’t think to whip out HER phone. |
It wasn’t a false crime. She shouldn’t have said threatening her life but people say crazy things when threatened. Unfortunately I have seen and know too many cases where what was left after a conversation like this is a woman’s body. I’m sure she knew that as well. |
mmmm, as frustrated as I am with the posters who refuse to see he played a part, I'm frustrated with the ones making her fear a bigger deal than it was. Many posters have made good points that if she was really afraid, she would have left - not gotten in his face. If we'd all step back and not just try to see the side that makes us "right", we'd all benefit and learn something. |
Yes. This thread would be a lot shorter if there weren't so many people trying to blame the black victim for baiting and setting up the white racist to victimize him. It is so disheartening the lengths that people will go, to shift the blame to victims. The woman caused the entire problem by first not leashing her dog in a protected bird habitat and second, when asked politely, refusing and arguing about being called out for being an a$$hole. Everything after that was a direct cause of her actions. She was given a second chance to either put the leash on or leave, but she had to argue that she had a right to break the law.Sorry, but she was the instigator and 100% to blame for everything that happened after that. PERIOD. |
What she should have done according to posters is said to herself, “OMG this guy wants me to leave the park, and he’s threatening me and my dog, so I should get out of here ASAP because he says so. Or else “

HE is the instigator throughout. Leave or else. |
