I really cannot even believe this is a thing. Abortions are one of the safest medical procedures when done in an approved clinic with an actual medical doctor. Making it illegal will simply make something that is currently safe not safe. It won't actually change the fact that they will happen.

Banning abortion will only hurt lower income women. ALL women deserve basic healthcare and to not end up dead in a back alley.

Deserve? All I know is there are a lot of people saying they deserve X and Y should pay for it, because they can't afford it. They do this while walking around with thousand dollar smart phones. Got it?

What’s weird to me (NP) is that the anti-choice people don’t want teens or poor people to have children they can’t afford, nor do they want to pay for the children’s well-being (food, health care, etc). So logically, they should be encouraging abortion because they don’t want those people to be parents.

Single motherhood isn't an issue. Irresponsible ejaculation is the issue. Until we hold men accountable for all of the sperm they distribute then we need to provide reasonable healthcare and support for women.

And single parenthood =/= failure. There are many reasons people are single parents.

What is your solution, to return to the Irish way of stealing babies from unwed mothers and adopting them out to married couples, then imprisoning the birth mothers in laundries to work and atone for having a baby out of wedlock?

You're talking about the individual responsibility of the MEN, right? Sex does not make babies. Ejaculation does.
