She also keeps copying styles. Today her hairstyle looks like Dr. Curry‘s when she was on the stand.

I’m sure her new damage control team said no more hard contouring. Soft and just the right amount of glow.

Her instagram ready make up has been pretty bad.
Today was also the first day without any noticeable eye makeup. At first I thought it was because she knew she will end up crying (planned for it!), but now believe it's was to appear more tortured and sad, basically less decorative.

True. Her language when she talks about drugs makes her sound very street drugs savvy.

today a different woman is next to him and I don't see the same smiling and laughing.

The brunette was flirtier than him! And he had some good exchanges with the full figured light hair attorney in the early days. She also was flirty.
In both cases he just seems friendly. He sure is a chick magnet.

DP. I do NOT get the attraction to him. He's just a bloated, greasy, tiny-mouthed, Marlon Brando-esque chubby guy. Yuck.

I’m separating from my husband, a man who is a drug addiction, alcoholic, and abusive as hell. And also very charming. He can be funny. He can seem caring.

This thread exemplifies everything I fear about the way that women - or people, generally - in abusive relationships are treated when they come forward. Doubted. Judged on whether or not they cry at the right time. Accused of lying because the abuser seems like a nice guy (hint: most abusers do).

Drinking is bad but the “laughies” and “lovie” drugs she took are a-ok.

One of these two is a narcissist, abusive, has no idea what the truth is Narc. Who has to be right and prove to others that the other is insane, abusive, etc. Narcissist truly feels a victim in his/her own mind.
The they start a smear campaign if their narcissistic supply has left them, shut them down or accused them of being abusive.
The need to maintain the illusion that they are a victim and right is what motivates an NPD person.
I would have to watch them both in court to see how they act, and I have no desire to do so.
As a woman who has been exposed to narc' abuse in the work force, I am going with JD is the Narc in this situation. His easy manner of talking about it all, the need to bring it to the world to see that he is "innocent," being so charming to all, that is 100% NPD strategy.

I do not truth the word he says, the fact that many are so eager to blame the woman is pathetic dcum and the world!
Pathetic.
But, then again, you are all racist bigots who hate Meghan Markle and call a black woman an evil seductress! Which century is this? and which decade?
We could all be in 1820 when the poo slave girl is accused of seducing her master/who actually raped her, and beating her to death bcs mistress blamed her too!
Is Amber also nuts, perhaps yes, but I am guessing she thought she was just doing what hollywood does and she was a young woman put to desperation by his threats and abusive behaviors.
Do I think he told her she is a nobody, and abused her and slapped her? Yes, of course I do.
How can all of you read everything that is being said about men in Hollywood and their depravities and still be on their side??

+1000. I hope both their careers suffer. These are not people who deserve to make millions a year and receive any praise from the public.

Not facetiously, as I have not listened to the testimony, how has he established damages directly from the op-ed (vs, contemperaneous reporting of their relationship and issues on pirates set?)

Through his experts. Heard's side will argue what you point out. His side will cite his experts. There's enough there for the jury to decide that the Op Ed damaged his career, if the jury wants to decide that way. I think the real issue is whether what she said in the Op Ed was true.

What experts did he have that testified to that? I wasn't trying to ask a gotcha question, I haven't watched the testimony and don't know if this was reasonably established. You said you thought he had established damages, what did the experts say that established this on legal grounds?

Didn't his movie role get canceled after publication, plus not asked to do next pirates movie? I don't think that's hard stuff to prove.

Different poster: I think there was testimony that 2 months before the article came out his team sent texts or emails saying they didn't think he was getting the pirate movie renewed. Also, he had other issues, like being consistently late to a set, meaning, it isn't as if he had no issues which would cause Disney to not renew his contract but for the article. There are def. things that show Disney wasn't rehiring him before the article.

Not relevant for liability purposes, as his claim is defamation "per se," meaning, damages are presumed if the defamation is established.

Yes, what's going in here is absolutely textbook and it's absolutely disturbing. It's nit enough for him that he abused her during their marriage, he has to keep hurting her. Absolutely sick.
