If UMD closes campus, meet will be cancelled for Sunday. Otherwise I'd guess still on-- many officials/coaches staying in a hotel even though it's local. |

The below is from Capital Weather Gang a few minutes ago:
“The key question is how far north will the storm track as it approaches the East Coast Saturday into Sunday. We see four plausible scenarios: Arctic air suppresses the storm to the south, with just light snow or even no snow in the D.C. area. (The American model shows this.) The storm comes far enough north for a moderate snowfall in the D.C. area. (The European and American AI models show this.) The storm takes an ideal track for snow in the D.C. area (just to the south and then to the east) resulting in a memorable, heavy snowstorm. (The UKMet, European AI and Canadian models show this.) The storm passes so close to the D.C. area, or even to the west, that it draws in enough mild air for snow to change to a wintry mix. (Earlier version of the UKMet and American AI models showed this.) The timing for the storm, if it materializes, would probably be between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Stay tuned for more detailed analyses and forecast refinements in the coming days.” |

It's not the heat sheets, just the initial psych sheet list. Get it out and then problems can get flagged quickly! |

I have a 13-14 swimmer and it looks like they may be able to get through Saturday’s events before the storm moves in, but if there is no chance that they swim on Sunday I wonder if they will consider adjusting the schedule to start earlier on Friday and do more than just the 500 free that day. |

I think much of this is dependent upon UMD operations and if they’d allow schedule changes.
For Winter Classic there was a plan since there was a weather threat that never materialized but the gist was that if jr did, the schedule was contingent upon GMU operations. Fingers crossed you get through the meet.

No. Friday will happen. Saturday will almost certainly happen. Sunday will depend on the weather. |

This is not a regular meet though… they can’t just cancel Sunday since swimmers need to swim 5 events? |
