Republicans changed the law this summer. Even if those numbers are true (which I don’t believe) they no longer qualify for snap as of October 1

Why are they desperate and why are their countries shitholes? Could it have anything to do with western colonialism robbing them of their wealth and resources, as well as stoking centuries of divisions? Those people are working poor; the people who are cleaning your houses, washing your dishes and tables at restuarants, picking food in fields etc. Maybe get upset that they work 50-70 hours a week and still qualify for SNAP?
